What does Bible say about tithing?

He made us and provides all that we possess and in return, He asks us to worship Him with our time, talents, spiritual gifts and our money. In the New Testament Paul (carried along by the Holy Spirit) wrote in 2 Corinthians 9:6-7, ” Remember this: The person who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the person who sows generously will also reap generously.
